Judy Johnson has been a student of astrology for more than 40 years, after becoming fascinated with the Sun Sign column in a Chicago newspaper. She studied astrology with the late Barbara Krofel, Janet Berres, Jack Cawley, as well as with other respected members of the Chicago astrological community for many years, and considers herself a life-long student of the subject.
During her eclectic career, she held various positions at Official Airline Guides, including Customer Service Trainer, Codes Specialist, and Tariffs Supervisor, and was a beta tester for the first online airline reservations program created in tandem with Thomas Cook Travel. Judy was also an Assistant Manager at Barnes & Noble Bookstores, and during her years at Ty, Inc., she provided customer service, updated and monitored the website as well as named Beanie Babies and wrote their poems.
Judy has been the President of NCGR- Northern Illinois Chapter since 2006, where she and her team seek out the most interesting people to lecture at their monthly meetings. She worked in registration at UAC 2008 and assisted the National election committee in locating Midwest candidates that same year. She wrote the Secret Zodiac Tour report for the NCGR Memberletter as well as helping out with various tasks at the NCGR Geocosmic Alchemy Conference, Baltimore in March 2007.
Judy regrets that she has not had a decent photo taken since high school graduation.
